Advice needed - embarrassed

I'm terrified my OH is getting bored of our sexlife.

I feel like I've been avoiding it lately as I really not happy with my body and feel very self conscious.

Anyway... my boyfriend has always been the one to "take the lead". In my entire sexlife, with other partners I've never really been "on top". I would like to give it a go but I'm always terrified I'm doing it wrong as I'm not entirely sure how to move????

When I've tried before, his "bits" falls out (and believe me his size is NO issue!).

Any tips?

Talk to him! I have similar issues and honestly as terrified as I was of talking to my dp he was lovely.

What is it you aren't happy about? Is it something you can change?

Could you watch porn to get some ideas? (sorry if it's not your thing!) but difficult to advise as not had this issue.

Tell him your worries.
If he's a decent human being he'll do all he can to help and reassure you.

Don't be embarrassed.

Once you give it a try once you'll likely see you had nothing to worry about.

Any new position can take a bit of getting used to. My DH and I now laugh about the first few times we tried doggy style. We can't quite figure out how we couldn't do it as now it's easy, but I remember it really being a struggle. It's just about learning.

Let him know you want to try it but are nervous. We've been together over 10 years but I still get nervous suggesting stuff, even though every time I do he's over the moon.
