Where do you meet people?!

I'm 32 years old with 2 beautiful girls (1 and 5). Left my ex in February; decree absolute came in October.

I've been on my own ever since I left, with the odd ahem liaison here and there. All good fun and quite a release after all the shit I went through with my duplicitous snake of an ex husband.

It's been 9 months and I would just love to go on some nice, pleasant dates with nice, pleasant men. But I just don't know where to meet these people. No one I know seems to have any recommendations from their own list of friends. I'm off work at the moment so no colleagues as potential dates. Internet dating (only the free stuff) has been a waste except for said liaisons and don't even get me started on bars and clubs.

The ex has the kids every other weekend so I do get time to get out there and meet people. But where do I go?! Where are all the nice, pleasant men??

XH has the DC tonight and I’m sitting here at home watching the bloody Xfactor Separated for half a year now but XH has only just started having them over one night EOW, so I haven’t exactly had time to go anywhere on my own, but even now that I do, I don’t even know where to go or what to do with myself.
Not even any ‘liaisons’ here either Have lived like a nun now for 4 1/2 years and wouldn’t mind a little bit of rampant sex romance in my life.

I came on here to say the same as op I'm afraid I've got no idea OP. There certainly doesn't seem to be any pleasant and attractive men where I live. I've given up tbh. I'm perfectly happy single and don't need the hassle.
