Flower girl but not page boy?!

Hey

I'm asking my best friend to be my bridesmaid. She has a baby girl who will be a toddler when I marry. I'd like to have her as my flower girl. My two nephews are going to be page boys.

However, my friend also has a little boy similar age to my nephews and I feel mean asking his sister and mum to be part of the wedding and not him!

Should I just ask anyway? I am overthinking this way too much but feel mean!

Thanks xx

Yeah ask him! Removes any possibility of any upset that way and will make zero difference really to your day

Actually thinking about it if he's much older he probably won't want to. Why don't you ask your friend what she thinks?!

I would ask him to be page boy as well. Would look at little off asking the daughter and not him.

How old will he be? Could you ask him to do another "special" job? Otherwise, yes, you should offer to have him as well, I think - maybe asking his mum what she thinks would be the best way to go about it?

I'd just stick with your friend as bridesmaid then she can look after the two page boys. A toddler is likely to be a bit of an unknown quantity so if you just have your friend, you won't offend anyone and won't have too many little ones (unless you'd like to of course!)
