Name changed for this. DH goes away for the weekend and leaves me with his old run-around. I thought I'd take it to get it cleaned (DH's car is always a tip) and as I am putting things into glove box I find a tub of Vaseline (not used by the looks of it) and a can of deodorant. This seems like an odd selection - What would you think?

Deodorant- I'd think fine, it'd got him if he needs to freshen up.
Vaseline- does he use it as a lip balm, I know people who do,
Or could it be there invade he needs it for the car?

If I found this in my bf car I would think his sweaty with dry lips.

Deodorant ? Put some on on the way to work or after if he thinks he smells ?

No, they were for us and fell out my bag months ago and I chucked them in the glove.

You'd find those things in my car. Vaseline is good for lips/hands and deodorant, well, isn't it normal to carry deodorant just in case?

I have Vaseline and deodorant in my car. I'm single. I also have grass growing in the passenger footwell and I can't see out of the rear window as it's covered in dog snot. I also have a Swiss Army knife in the glove box and a nail file. There is a lighter in there but I don't smoke. What would a partner be asking on mumsnet about me!

Oh and usually several bras in there. I take them off on my way home from work if I am stuck in traffic

OP if it seems odd to you it could indeed be odd. You know him better than we do. If those items were in my DH's car I wouldn't worry about it because they often are.
