For a long time I have been getting acne of my back, bum and legs and this is making me very paranoid during sex when my partner wants me to “bend over.”
I have tried coconut oil but I didn’t see any change, does anybody know of any products that can help?

If it's quite bad I'd suggest seeing a doctor as products from the shops probably won't help much, you might need some medication.

It’s only small pimples but they are all over I’m to paranoid to go to the doctors, it’s that bad I can’t take my top of any more during sex, I will refuse to wear a bikini at the beach, I don’t know what to do!

Hi I have had back acne , do you wash your hair in the shower? Conditioner is the biggest offender for causing back acne. I feel your pain, cotton clothing and an antibacterial wash cleared mine up.

I have a friend who had the same problem. She went to the dr and was recommended a chlorhexidine based wash. You can find it in pharmacies, it's pink and has the brand name hibiscrub. Used for medical stuff as it kills bacteria. I don't know if it is drying to the skin though. You could try using it sparingly every other day?

Okay thank you very much

Benzoyl peroxide cream from boots has helped my bum zits but hasn't completely got rid of them

Maelstrop · 25/09/2017 21:52

Careful with hibiscrub. It can thin the skin so is not good if the skin is broken or for long term use.

Coconut oil is quite comedogenic. Don't use it.

Stop being afraid to see a doctor so you can reclaim your life.
