How to date?

Just reading a thread about dating and how much people miss and enjoy it, especially living in London. I live in London but have never really dated. How do people do it? Sorry for the stupid question

No such thing as a silly question :)
Join a dating site would be a first step, I guess :)

Make a profile. Put up pics. Make sure your profile and pics show off the real you!

Message anyone who interests you. Exchange a couple of messages then arrange a meet up (chat long enough to kn ow you have things in common but not so long you start getting feelings before meeting! Makes it more nerve wracking.

Arrange a public place dinner or coffee or drinks. Get yourself dolled up in whatever you're comfortable with. Go meet them. Chat and see how you get on.

I did try lots of dating sites earlier this year. Had some mutual likes but every time I started a conversation I got no replies!!

I think it's just perseverance!
There's a few free ones you could try. What do you have to lose?!
