What are the top 5 questions you would want to ask a potential new partner before starting a relationship with them?

No idea on the specifics & obviously wouldn't be so blunt to ask but, having read the relationship boards for a number of years the biggest deal breakers tend to be sex & money. I would never ask however would want to know:

What's your sex drive like?

Do you have any debts?

What are your own deal clinchers? Would rather know from day 1 rather than string someone along ideally.

Are you going to expecting me to form part of a Velcro couple or can I still see my own friends?

What do you think is an ideal time line for relationship progression? I'd add that one as some people think you should be engaged in say under 3 years, which would be an automatic no no for me.

Probably first would be have you ever paid for sex?

Hadn't thought about debts but that's an important one too!

  1. Do you want marriage or kids at some point?
  2. Why did things end with ypur ex?
  3. Have you ever cheated?
  4. What is your relationship with your mother like?
  5. Why do you think you havent found The One yet?

Well I wouldn't grill them with direct questions - you just have to get to know than by talking

dancemom · 12/09/2017 17:50

I didn't mean sit them down and Fire questions, I meant what would you like to know....

  1. If you could have a super power what would it be?
  2. If you could invite three people over for dinner (alive or dead) who would you invite?
  3. Will you hold my hair back when I being sick?
  4. What are your favourite things to do?
  5. Will you promise to always tell me the truth?

That should cover it ;) If they said to the first and second question they didn't know, I would dump their sorry ass.
