I'm an adult but it still troubles me that my father never ever remembers my birthday.

Doesn't it bother any of you? I always remember his and he never seems to think, oh have I missed your birthday? Sometimes I wonder if I am an alien or he is! After all I was born wasn't I?

I don't think Men are programmed to remember Birthdays, usually they have someone to remind them!

my sister phones my Dad a week before my birthday and I do the same for her!

i do,sometimes mine doesnt remember what my middle name is or gets it confused with one of my sisters. does feel abit weird,but i shrug it off.

My Dad doesn't and my birthday's New Year's Eve. DH doesn't remember either. Actually no beggar does. Bitter, moi?

My father never did. But he did sometimes surprise me with "un-birthday" presents that showed a tremendous amount of thought and understanding - that's surely far more important than dates.

Agree with you Anniegetyourgun! Who knows one day my father might surprise me - doubt it though.

Nice to know not alone though.
