How do you even begin to trust again?

Just that.
I've been divorced for 5 years after 13 year relationship. I've had 2 relationships since - haven't worked, bad choice with 1st and long distance with second.
I'm getting really cynical. I've met quite a few men and found they are wanting friends with benefits only. I can't do that.
I'm very independent but would love to meet someone to enhance my life, share meals out, walks etc I'm finding I'm generalising e.g.. men just want one thing etc.
How do I get rid of my baggage and properly move on and see things in a better light.. how will I trust?anyone for past this?
