Finding a solicitor

How do you know if a solicitor is going to be any good?
I've found a couple in my town that are signed up to Resolution which I've heard is a good thing when it comes to divorce and agreements where children are involved.
But what other things should I look out for? I can't really ask for recommendations as the only divorced people I know are friends of DH and I wouldn't want him to know i'm taking this step just yet.
Anything in particular to look for/avoid?
Thanks

I just had a look at their websites, made sure they were Resolution accredited, then looked at the pics of solicitors and chose the one that had the faces I trusted the most!

I 'interviewed' mine Grin

So, tell me, why would you be the best divorce lawyer for me?....

The one I chose said 'Well actually I might not be'... and we went on to have a discussion. I saw a few before I chose the one.
