at 50,
with traumatic and difficult backstories
over the last few years they have proven themselves to be capable of great courage,
astounding kindness,
amazing generosity
and huge love

just so we can all remind ourselves that it can and does happen.

For all those struggling to escape sadness, abuse, rape and trauma of all sorts take courage. Your life can be better with or without a partner.

I have shared a lot of tears over the last decade...I had to share this with you too.

What a lovely thread and a beautiful story of 2 people finding love and being happy

MN and it's lovely nest of vipers enabled first me then her to escape violent and controlling relationships, helped us to understand the abuse, to place the blame where it belongs, to escape, budget, survive, thrive, help our DC, process our anger, our doubts and fears and ultimately to come out the other side stronger than before.

It seems only right that the happiness is yours too.
