name changed for this.

I suspect H is seeing someone else. It's a long drawn out story but it's effectively over and I want this to happen. He's borderline EA and an arse.

I noticed strange behaviour from him, the classic signs - secretive, glued to his phone, going to the gym, coming home late, etc.
Well anyway, i was on the laptop and i noticed this search term 'day use' in the google search box. It's a new? service called dayuse.com where you can effectively hire a nice room (with wine if desired) from 11am to 6pm
So he's been shagging someone during the day at these hotels. It's all very discreet, no credit card bookings, pay cash at the hotel. nice classy joints. they say in their bumpf that it's not set up for sleazy trysts but there you have it. I noticed that H deleted all evidence apart from the tell tale entries in his browsing history. He booked a luxury room with 2 glasses of prosecco for £90.

He's the type of guy who will lie and shout till he's blue in the face when confronted so I think i've got my proof. he'll still try to wriggle out of it though and it's not concrete proof.

Oh dear. That's not good, how are you op?

itislatekidsupin3hrs · 19/08/2017 04:34

oh and by the way, he's not working at the moment (desperately searching) so he's looking after the kids. On tuesdays (my day off) he goes into town to 'network' which i believe he does during the day until the OW knocks off from work. He normally rolls back around 1am looking exhausted. I did think it was strange that he was never steaming drunk at that time (which is what i would expect if he's been for drinks with his ex work colleagues) but he's pretty lucid.

You know though. You dont need anything more to leave him.

itislatekidsupin3hrs · 19/08/2017 04:39

Yes, it's strange, I do have mixed emotions. mainly disgust. He's acting all cheery and suggesting mini breaks away. It was inevitable but kicking him out has been made so much easier. if i didnt have this, he would have clung on for dear life. so it's OK. It's just so sleazy!

Ive a friend who used to work in hotels. It goes on a lot. She said so many rooms mon-fri were booked properly as over nights but the guests would leave around 7-9 so could still pass it off as working late.

Day use hotels, that "aren't set up for trysts". What on Earth would somebody go to a Hotel room for 7 hours for, to sit there?

I have just had a quick look around the site.

"napping in the afternoon maybe a chic way to surprise your loved one"

hahahahahaha

It sounds like you have the measure of him OP. I use 'day use' hotels with my bf (difficult to meet evenings and do overnighters due to kids) and it is very easy to book and cancel if need be on the day. Blurb talks about resting during a hectic shopping trip Hmm or while waiting for a flight etc etc ....Once you book the ads are constant..
