Me and DH have 4 days to get away after ongoing illnesses I need a break...looking at some sun.

We can go from East Midlands or at a pish Birmingham

From Sat 26th but need to be back Tues 29th in the afternoon

Ive looked at Spain and Ibiza but no joy all over a grand for 3 nights!!!!

You'll struggle to get much cheaper on those dates I would guess one of the busiest weekends of the year

I have just put a holiday together for myself and my two children to Majorca over Bank Holiday week for 10 days for £1450 excluding transfer costs (will use Shuttle direct as much cheaper than a taxi). Skyscanner found local flights going to Spain from my local airport next week, albeit at anti-social evening times. I called teletext and asked them for their best hotel deals, and then went on tripadvisor to check out the reviews of the accommodation to make sure it wasn't 18-30 hell. I can withstand some moaning complaints, but if rating is over 3.5/4 then I feel happy to proceed with the booking. So, 10 days in 4 star apartment overlooking pool with airconditioning, 300 metres from Blue Flag beach with local flights...much cheaper than a package in school holiday time. You have to search around...you can save money if you can pay by Visa Debit, and not use a credit card as well.
