Quick q - do you remove your wedding ring

...when washing hands if it is a bit loose?

Even if it did come off, surely it wouldn't fit down the plughole anyway (we're talking men's largish size)?

No, if the ring is loose get it resized to fit.

Needs to be loose enough to remove for work, weight also changes.

Not when washing my hands but I do when I shower and go to bed.

DH no longer wears his as one day he lost it while explaining/pointing directions for someone. It flew off into the road and we got my DS metal detector out at midnight and searched the roadside, we found it eventually.

Some sinks don't have the grid fitting in the plug. Its just the pipe hole straight down with a tilting plug thing to close the hole. You could easily lose a ring down there and if my ring were loose I would definitely take it off and put it in my pocket and forget its there to put back on once Ive dried my hands.

At home yes, out and about no.
DH is a joiner and can't wear his for work and when I'm pregnant my fingers swell. I have a a selection of cheap rings I wear when I'm pregnant and have sausage fingers.
But we are both scatterbrains so don't have very expensive rings and frequently lose them about the house.

Never, I couldn't get it off even if I wanted

Yes, all the time but only at home, not public bathrooms.
