Confused. What would you think this meant?

On the history page of OH browser, the pages visited are listed (apart from ones viewed in incognito). Lots of these are from Gmail. One of which is listed as "(something I don't recognise) logged on from another computer ". When clicked on, it says that email has been deleted. Unfortunately, the description in the history list then changed to the normal email address after I'd clicked on it, so I can't go back to check the unrecognised bit out.
What kind of thing would be giving an alert on Gmail? I thought it would only be the Gmail account itself, if logged on from another computer. But in that case, why didn't it have the usual name? Any ideas?

Google Play? Google Groups? There are a few.

Hmm. Wouldn't they have some indication of being a google thing in the address though?
I suppose it could be anything signed up for which the email was linked to. Notifications for if haven't been on there since. For someone who apparently 'doesnt delete emails ' i do wonder.

It sounds like a notification that another computer/tablet/phone looged onto that email address. e.g. WRO6780 logged onto [email protected]

If he has other identities(accoubts) linked to that account he may have deleted them, hence why theyve reverted back to the original name (i think you get 5 email identities with Gmail).

Thanks pretty. With the deleting another account thing, do you mean he could have had another Gmail account(for example [email protected]), which then notified his normal Gmail? Sorry, I'm not very techy!

Yes. If he's linked that account to a machine, app, service or other account (a recovery account for example).
