Have tried several times today but keep getting voicemail.

Can anyone suggest anyone else I could call?

If you leave a message, they will call you back. They will ask for a safe time or if your number is safe.

rockinghorsewinner · 04/07/2017 17:42

When, though?

If you look on their website there's an option to find your local service and it's often easier to get an answer if you ring your local branch rather than the national number. I don't know if you would catch them this late in the day but worth a try?

rockinghorsewinner · 04/07/2017 17:42

I mean, I have been trying since noon Smile

Are you in danger? If you are in danger call the police.

Link to search www.womensaid.org.uk/domestic-abuse-directory/

Just checked my local helpline and they're open til 8pm so definitely worth a try.

rockinghorsewinner · 04/07/2017 17:47

I can't get through anywhere Sad

Never mind.

Depends what type of issue you are dealing with. Rape Crisis? Victim Support? The police?

springydaffs · 04/07/2017 19:44

Best to call 7pm-7am if you can. As you have seen, lines busy during the day Sad

But do try your local service. Better chance of getting through.

If it isn't urgent then do leave a voicemail /email and they will get back to you. They'll get back as soon as they can - funding, see.

If it is urgent then contact the police.
