Has anyone else found this, that you go through stages of being unable to think about anything but?

I just keep thinking about my marriage and how bad it was. And how I should have known. And it's making me feel so bad and scared.

Yes i feel the same way i think its about learning to forgive yourself for tolerating it for so long but you dont usually realise how bad it had got until you look back into it. At the time though (for me) it was about survival at that moment/ getting through each day.
Good on you for getting out of it and staying out, that in itself is a massive accomplishment when it comes to abusive relationships
