Advice please

Hello.
I live with my partner of 14 years and ds5 & dd 9. We are constantly fighting bickering both not happy for a long time.
We rent from the council joint tenancy. He wants to move out but won't actually do anything about it. I have nowhere else to go so it suits me that as the main care giver that I would stay on in this flat.
We got a form from the council to be completed for him to leave, it's been lying there for long enough every now & then he threatens to fill it in etc. Well it was completed today & he told me to hand it in (I'm the driver) hummed & hawwed but finally said hand it in. I can't stand you etc
I did & since I've came home he deleted all my recordings from the sky box! (Sky is the one bill in his name that he pays direct) he also took the box from the bedroom saying he pays it & I can't watch it!
I have no one else to talk to about this. Both my parents are elderly & ill atm I don't want to burden them with this.

Surely no sky is a small price to pay for getting him out?

Well as his name is now off the tenancy I'd be telling him to leave!

His name isn't off the tenancy until he signs for a new house!
I know how pathetic that must sound as though all on worried about is sky but that if that's the way he's acting just now on over tv, how the hell is he going to be in future. I want him out now but he won't go

I'd speak to the council about that. Why should you have to put up with him until he finds somewhere else??

Can you buy or borrow a free view or even another sky box (you can still get some free channels with just a box) failing that I'd disconnect the dish and say nothing? I totally get you're upset about the Sky. I went for years (when married to my ExH) where Sky was the only connection I had with the outside world! It's also unfair on the kids.

You could also be an arse if you wanted to and change the password on the wifi if you pay for that but I'm childish like that.

Other than that all you can really do is ride it out. Don't let him get to you.
