This may be a bit long, so just bare with me.

So i've been made of a fool or and walked over for various "friends" in the past. I then cut them out of my life. This "friend" i've know her since school. I would say she has been one of my closest friends.
Back in December when i went into a refuge with my LB from my ex (baby dad) i told her all about it. It was EA nothing physical. I only told her and 1 of close friend. Tbh she didnt really say much about it and was quite useless i feel. Anyway fast forward to now, i saw that she liked 1 of my ex post on social media. It was a pic of my son but still, after what i told her i was a bit annoyed. She came round the other day and she told me she was thinking of moving with her bf. She then said "me and my bf have a plan. We are going to ask your ex to look at the house, make friends with him. So then we can bump into him on holiday and then see your little boy". As they are going to the same place on holiday at the same time. She said it in a jokey tone but i think she was being serious about getting my ex round to value the house. I don't know if she thinks she will get discount because i said me and my ex are civil to one another for our sons sake.
Another thing is she was bitching about a girl she works with. I know this girl through another friend and we went away a group of us a few years ago. (this friend im talking about didnt come). The girl on holiday made my life hell, she bullied me and excluded me. This friend knows all about this as well and i told her how much she upset me. So she says 1 of her friends had invited this horrible girl to lunch and she didnt want to go now. Then i see on a pic she posted yesterday, his horrible girl has commented loads of hearts. So it seems they are now mates. I just dont get it.
I really trusted this girl and feel like i cant trust her now. I mean is she now bitching about me to this horrible girl. Wants to "make friends" with my ex. I really wouldnt have put her down as this type of person. I feel so hurt. What would you do??
Really sorry for long post!!!

I would cut all contact now.

alternativetentacle you think so? I feel i downplayed the abuse and didnt make it a big deal. But she should have realised it was just by saying i was in a refuge.

Also another thing to add is her bf keeps messaging me on social media. Nothing flirty, just asking how i am, hows my boy. Stuff like that. He admitted infront of my friend he doesnt have friends, so hers is his. I try not to really engage in that much convo with him as i feel like i shouldnt be messaging him even though its nothing flirty. I dont know if she knows he messages me. Maybe if she knows she might be annoyed at me but like i said i keep my answers short and polite.

Well, I look at 'friends' and think 'do they have my back'? If yes then yes they are friends. If no, then no they are not friends. Do you need this sort of 'friend' in your life that is going behind your back to befriend your abusive ex, and whose boyfriend seems to be messaging you unnecessarily or not? It really is up to you.

I tend to not suffer fools gladly so yes, I'd cease contact immediately. Life is too short.

Yea I guess I'm a bit of a walk over. And because I don't have many friends I just let it happen. Time to stand up for myself I think!
