Slept with a 23 year old

I'm 32. Is that bad? He's a student, met in a pub. I've been separated for a year, he's the first one after.
He makes me happy though we've only seen eachother on five occasions and had sex for the first time a few days ago.
I can't stop thinking about him. But I'm telling myself what could a 23 year old possibly do for me at this point in my life Hmm

I'm 55 and have been in a relationship with a 22 year old for nearly two years now. There have been no age associated problems and no funny comments. In my opinion you don't even have an age gap!

despacito · 02/06/2017 18:07

@thecatneuterer
I salute you!Flowers

Hats off to you thecatneuterer!

IHaveBrilloHair · 02/06/2017 18:44

I will be modelling myself on thecatneuterer too, except without the relationship bit, too many young men to commit to just oneGrin

MaidenMotherCrone · 02/06/2017 18:59

Time to lock up my sonsGrin

despacito · 02/06/2017 19:09

I'm 26 (male) and had a 6 month relationship with a woman who was 41 last year. Emotionally we got on fantastically and also had a lot of mind blowing sex, but ultimately she was looking for someone to settle down with (having 3 kids) and I wasn't ready to commit to joining a family yet so we parted ways unfortunately.

We both agreed it was an amazing 6 months though!

MaidenMotherCrone · 02/06/2017 20:00

Despacito knowing what I know they'll probably teach you a thing or two. If anyone comes across them, brace yourselves ladiesGrin

despacito · 02/06/2017 20:37

@Gladiator90 so nice to hear from
a young man.
Thanks for the tip. I have one child yes and he still thinks farting is cool, so will just enjoy him for now.
Are you single? GrinGrin

@despacito Don't get me wrong her having kids wasn't an issue at all, but I think it's important to both be clear about what you want from the start so that neither party gets too attached.

If you just want a bit of fun for a non-specific period of time, just say so! I don't know many guys who would be offended by you being honest about that, even if it wasn't their cup of tea!

Unfortunately so, still trying to find another older women I can convince to experiment with younger guys. GrinGrin

When me and my DH met I was 30 and he was 23.

I honestly didn't think about the age gap at the time and were still together 12 years later.

It works really well for us,my DH has always been older than his actual age and I've always been younger so we compliment each others personailities.

despacito · 02/06/2017 21:30

Wel look no further @Gladiator90 Blush

@despacito send me a message and we'll see how much convincing you take then. Grin haha

CowParsleyNettle · 02/06/2017 21:52

DH is 5 years younger than me, he's always been hardworking, motivated and far more mature than previous men I've dated (who were all at least ten years older than him)

Obviously he was a keeper :D

The only time I remember there's an age gap is when he says something twattsh like "I can't believe I'm going to be 28 it's so old" :D

SandyY2K · 02/06/2017 21:52

I'm loving the flirting between you two.Smile

GruffaloPants · 02/06/2017 21:55

Just enjoy it. It might last, it might not. Dds friend's parents met when he was 22 and she 34. They've been married nearly 20 years now and still hold hands.

hmcAsWas · 02/06/2017 21:57

I'm not - its turning my stomach. This isn't a dating website! [disapproving look]

nonsparkle · 02/06/2017 22:16

Go for it Wink you are both consenting adults. My oh likes that I'm a few years older, his mates like to Jib him about me being a milf but it's all fun. I'd go for a younger guy all the time, more stamina!

Isthismummy · 02/06/2017 22:25

I'm getting married this month and my husband to be is 16 years younger than me!

Anything can happen opSmile

despacito · 02/06/2017 22:30

@Isthismummy wow well done you!

Not a dating site, got itHmm

OP posts:
PsychedelicSheep · 04/06/2017 22:45

I started seeing a 24 year old when I was 35 so an 11 year age gap too. I thought it would just be a bit of fun but 3 years later he's still here and we're really happy, he's the best boyfriend I've ever had 😊

There's more no reason it shouldn't work out than any other new relationship. And if it's the man who's older no one bats an eyelid so sexism is a big part of it too 🙄
