Was i right to tell friend i was annoyed?

Complicated. Good friend'd mum and my dad been dating for 4 years. Knew friend way before they got together... fairly complex friendship.
Dad great but too involved... unhealthy relationship.
Dad gets on very well with his partner's family.
At a barbq last night and i said something to my friend about how my dad had upset me.
Friend took my dad's side which is fine but she spoke to me like dirt which tbh pissed me off.
Today i texted her and said i was annoyed that she snapped at me.
As a backstory her dp told me ladt night about how much dad had inherited from his late mother ( i wasnt interested in knowing but it hurts he told them not me. )
I feel pushed out and hurt tbh.
She hasnt replied so im guessing she isnt sorry.

I had a similar thing recently. My friend said a really hurtful thing to me. My dad always told me to to give myself 24 hours so I gave myself 48 hours. I texted her to say how much she had hurt me. She did actually text me to say a quick sorry and that was it. I think what I am trying to say is that if something is annoying you that much, you have to say something because it will eat you up either way......

People generally don't respond well to being told off. Either she doesn't think she did anything wrong, or she thinks your behaviour was as bad/worse, or she knows you're right but is going for defensive. I think the conversation you really need to have is with your dad tbh.
