Flirtinn emails

Can someone tell me why you would get sent emails trying to get you to sign up to the Flirtinn.co.uk as I am under the impression that this means that at sometime you would of given your email address to a dating site or similar and they have sold on the email address, Or am I being overly suspicious here?

My reason for asking is I think I am been taken for a mug yet again.
Has anyone else been randomly sent these emails?

I've had similar emails and certainly don't loiter around such pages. I'd say it's probably just spam.
