Make or break holiday - did it work?

A friend has had relationship problems but they are still going on the holiday they booked and are making a go of it.

It made me think of me with exh. The holiday was nice enough and we got on fine but I still didn't want to be with him when we got back.

I even had one relationship finish on holiday and we travelled back separately! That was bad but we couldn't bear to spend any more time together.

Holidays are totally artificial & no measure of the day to day if either person works

Romantic week. Holding hands. Romantic dinners, lovey dovey. having passionate sex. Like two teenagers and all the time they were texting each other. Talk about cheating. It was a while until I worked out that my OH was cheating on the OP as well as me. How can you spend a week with each other and be totally in love knowing there is someone else in the frame. INSANE!!! Schizophrenia springs to mind.
