I heard him say this through our bedroom door

"I am going to kill you." He also raised his fist to me and said that he hates me. I have asked him to leave today (it's my house) and told his parents to expect him.

I've been thinking about splitting for ages but it's so horribly painful.

I don't know why I'm posting - just wanted a hand hold, I guess.

His parents are on the whole wonderful people. I never expected them to side with me but I wanted them to know the truth. They did say how sorry they are about what has happened. I'm not going to engage with them further. It's all very upsetting.

Hope you are feeling ok this morning. Dont engage with ex either except to tell him his crap is ready for collection...pack up all his stuff and leave it outside...change the locks, close the blinds/curtains (if you feel the need), get a good friend for the day/overnight.
