Last night I took a call from a distressed friend who had earlier caught her two dc in the act of sexual touching. They were 'playing' in a tent in the garden. dd is 11, ds 7. They were both fully clothed and by the sounds of it had only been there 5 or 10 minutes. My friend was distraught and tried to reason it out with the children without letting too much distress show but later at the pub with me she really poured her shock out. This got us discussing what is the acceptable upper age limit for natural child curiosity? How would you have handled it?
