I was out today with DH. Asked him to go to the local shop to get some food. He bought something for him and I but nothing for our kids! I am sick to death of thinking for him and increasingly wonder if I would be better off alone?

Were the kids with you at the time? What did he say when you asked him where their food was?

IncaAztec · 11/05/2017 18:48

Yes! One was even next to him in the shop! He told me I had failed to tell him what to buy?

A one off or a pattern of behaviour?

IncaAztec · 11/05/2017 18:51

Bit of both. I can't decide if he is deliberately ignorant or just can't be bothered. I increasingly feel it is a pattern of can't be arsed behaviour e.g. He recently started a few projects in the house and garden and they both seem to have stalled. I feel that if I wasn't there anymore, he would have to up his game a lot.

Same here a lot of the time - he just can't be bothered to listen properly and doesn't really think ahead in the same way as I tend to. Don't know why, but it really peeves me. So I have sympathy.
