Delaying divorce

Can I ask my solicitor to shelve my divorce proceedings for a certain length of time for whatever reason?
Has anyone had any experience of this?

Depends what stage they have reached and why you want to do this.

Depends on the stage and the reason.

If (for instance) your STBX was about to come in to some inheritance, it would not improve your chances of getting extra money.
