Divorce: Sole conduct of sale

Anyone know if you have to give notice to the other side that you going for sole conduct of sale of jointly owned (exmarital) house or is it straight to the courts?

Divorce is finalised but xh being dickhead and not being very bright is being an idiot by email (so have proof).

Many thanks

I'm in the middle of doing this, the court will ask him for his defence.

It was just mentioned in my divorce papers that I would be selling the house. That it had to be on the market by end of certain month of a certain year.
ExH was living in another country so he wasn't going to contest it.

Can you ask your solicitor?

I will ask my solicitor- everything that XH can do to put off selling the house he will (I left him due to dv 4 years ago) grrr!

I'll have to gear myself up for another court battle! Thank you for your input.
