Getting back with your first love

Just that really. Has anyone? Did it work out?

I've got back in touch with mine and am curious to hear other people's stories.

We were together for 3 years, split up for one then back together for one. Last 2 years of it were a complete waste as the reason we split up didn't change at all! Some stories work out perfectly (take Giovanna and Tom fletcher for one) but mine just wasn't meant to be!

Not sure about 'first love', not seen first lust since that time-think about him very occasionally but I'm pretty sure I'm remembering through a rose tinted lense so wouldn't be at all interested in coming across him again & spoiling the illusion...
