Anybody's EX ever try to come back after affair ended ??

When the bubble bursts and the truth of the devastation is finally hitting home.

Has anybody had this happen to them and what happened ?

Definitely not hoping for this to happen for myself as I'm to far down the road but curious to find out if its quite common.

Yes. I was in a relationship long term and long distance. He ditched me for her. She ditched him. He wss on his own for a few months. Then he wanted to get back together. About 4-5 months later. By then we were both living in London. We hadn't managed to both live in same place for years! I said no. Not because I didn't want to. I was still horribly in love with him. But because he said it in such a resigned might-as-well way.
Twas a good decision.
