How often do you tell your dp/dh that you love them?

I say it to dp quite often and he says it back but he doesn't say it that often without me saying it first.

Just curious as to how often other couples say it?

Daily - probably 3 or 4 times. Sometimes in response to dh, sometimes un prompted. We are a bit vomit making though.

When i feel it. I don't think it should be said for the sake of it, or becasue you think they might want to hear it. I say it when I suddenly think God I really love you. I don't need to hear it 100 times a day either, i need to hear it when it's meant and heartfelt and that's how I like to dish it out as well. Otherwise they are just words and mean nothing imo.

Lots. Probably too much, because it sort of loses its meaning if oversaid.

about 4 times a day

at least twice a day on leaving for work and going to bed but often more - I would say it's fairly even split as to who says it first.

We bothe tell dd endlessly

When he leaves for work or goes out somewhere plus at night when going to sleep but these are more of the 'love you' routine thing, more of an automatic habit

A more meaningful time is after or during sex or if we talk about us/our lives and we go a bit slushy.

I suppose we should say it more often when we think about it rather than automatically

all the time he says it to me and vice versa whenever and wherever we feel like it.

every day, several times sometimes.

Everyday at bedtime - and he says it back to me. I also say it to DD(3) and now she says it back too - which I love to hear!

More than once a day. When either of us leave the house, on the phone, after sex, before bed, when one is upset etc and when apologising.

Fairly often, but not daily I would say. And it's probably 50/50 as to who says it first (or maybe dh says it slightly more than me).
