Sorry everyone just need a rant.
For the past 4 months my ex has been late paying maintenance!! I have all my bills coming out on the 1st of the month because that's the date he is supposed to pay and also the day after I get paid. Am I expecting to much of him to pay on time? Cms can't do anything until he is 7 days overdue! But in the meantime I need to worry about money?

Sorry just needed a rant

Change all your bills so they come out a week later or so. Should avert any crisis.

I can't change the mortgage because I can't do anything to change it without his agreement as it's a joint mortgage and he refuses to change or do anything with the mortgage
