My husband has fallen out with a friend of mine about 2 years ago. They dont speak and at first it was difficult for me as I was stuck in the middle but it has got easier as she doesnt really bother now and I dont really see her that often. Now one of our mutual friends is having a party and has invited us and her. I am not sure why she has invited her as she knows the situation. My husband has refused to go even though the friends who are hosting the party are very close friends of ours but he refuses to be in the same room as her even if there are 40-45 people. He will not budge on this. My friend who is hosting doesnt understand why he cant make an exception just this once and he doesnt even need to speak to her or be near her. She is upset that he wont make the effort. I have tried but he said he is not going and thats that. Stuck in the middle again. Is my husband being an ass??
