Not sure it'll be any good and they weren't keen on the sound of 3 kids part of the time, but it's worth viewing and ruling out.

I'm pretty sure it won't have sound proofing, it seems to have been a pretty quick conversion and things like central heating are not there, electric heaters and I've had to ask if they'll put in a towel rail in the bathroom as no heating there.

I'm waiting to hear back from the agent from the landlord due to my girls, but asked about decoration / shelf / picture / mirror hanging too.

Thanks for asking and good luck when you start viewing. my husband and i had a hear to heart - well I laid my heart open and he pretty much invalidated my feelings - so need to have a good think. It might well be him moving now and me staying. None of this is easy so am shattered emotionally and physically.

Electric heaters can be very expensive. Let's hope you don't have to move, afterall. Fingers crossed for you.

I saw one property a little while ago. it was nice enough... the agent wasn't sure if I earned enough an I would probably need a guarantor. I'm PT with 2 DCs. Andd there's him sitting on a pot of money. He's not going to make it easy for me. I hate him

ANewDawn, sorry for your trouble. Would you consider asking citizens advice for their opinion? It might make things clearer for you and give you the support you need to move on. Its a very difficult time. I'm sure someone else will be along to give better advice.

Yes been to CAB, also solicitor. Its a rock and a hard place that I have to endure one way or another. I either move out and financially struggle for the time being, whilst hoping that he makes an effort to sell the house and release the equity or I stay and ensure the house is tidied up and sold as quickly as possible.

Time to concentrate on your house and equity, while you're still there. If I owned a property I wouldn't be looking at moving out just yet.

My husband has acted on a few things I told him last night - so has clearly been reflecting on our heart to heart. I did think he'd just ignored everything I'd said.

I have had an email saying still waiting for a response so we'll see. Will have to decide if they say yes, or when I hear back from the other landlord.
