Husband looking at 'teen' porn

I'm feeling a little sick about it. It's all mainstream website so nothing illegal but some of videos he's watched are classed as 'teens' one video was tagged as 'very very young girl'I ( I viewed it to check it wasn't child abuse and it wasn't' but why do these sites tag line them with such words as this?! And why would any guy want to view it? Girls are like 18 19 20 He's been watching other types of porn too so 'teen' isn't exclusive.
I can't look at him I feel so disgusted at him. He's in his 40s ffs.

(And feeling disgusted by it is ok IMO, the risk he takes by being into porn generally is that his fantasies are open to policing. The risk you take by being open to porn generally is that his fantasies may upset you)

WamBamThankYouMaam · 14/01/2017 01:21

I think it's quite ok and understandable for a man of any age to be sexually attracted to a woman of 18-25 (which is the general reality of teen porn).

If you're against porn as a whole then honestly fair enough, everyone has different opinions and boundaries.

But teen porn is no different to any other mainstream genre. I'm fairly sure I've recently read that teen is the most searched for genre in porn.

MakeItStopNeville · 14/01/2017 01:28

Back in my 20s, I wouldn't have really cared and would have probably watched along with him. But now we are 40/41, and have teenage daughters ourselves, I would be very, very annoyed. My entire attitude towards porn has changed so dramatically over the years and I would expect a 40 something year old man to realise how those girls he's watching are being treated in rl and have a soul about it.

Also with PPs in thinking "teen" porn is a genre and I do watch porn. At the end of the videos on the legal sites there is a statement saying that all performers are of legal age and fully consented etc. So I don't equate it with child abuse or rape.
Like some others I enjoy watching porn occasionally , and I wouldn't be disgusted if I found my DH watching it. But that's what works for us - what works for you might well be quite different OP. You should talk to your husband about it.

HeWoreAGirlsCardigan · 14/01/2017 06:00

Whatever the age or otherwise of the on screen participants, it's the fact the OPs DH is SEEKING teen porn that is the worry here surely.
Over the line for me. I left my ex when I discovered his hebephilia. I could never have sex with him again or barely look him in the eye. It was the end.

Teaandcakeat8 · 14/01/2017 06:02

Agreed that although the site is user generated content it will be moderated and I have never seen a video that looks like it uses an underage girl on there (I know that no one can be sure).

OP you presumably don't even know your DH specifically searches for this genre? Couldn't it just be that the videos are tagged or named in this way? You can talk to him but IMO you will not stop him watching porn if that's what he wants to do.

Lastgirl... we are poison? Really?

MissVictoria · 14/01/2017 06:19

Sorry but this would be a relationship breaker for me. I don't like porn at the best of times but "teen" porn is sickening. Wanting to perv over some girl whose barely legal and looks young enough she could still be in school is just wrong. For those saying it's just role play, how in any way is it not disgusting to role play being a school girl?! The fact school girl dress up even exists is deplorable. I'd honestly question if they were having fantasies about underage girls or being with a girl only just legal because they couldn't legally get in trouble for it but liked/wanted younger.
I'd not be able to look at someone the same way again if they ever watched "teen" or school girl dress up porn or suggested i dress up as one, my ex mentioned it, and well, along with his other sexually deviant desires and anal rape threats, it's a big part of why he's an ex!

MyWineTime · 14/01/2017 10:27

You think youporn asks for birth certificates?
They wouldn't risk having underage porn on their site because it would destroy their business. The people who run sites like that are running a business, not wanking all day. If they even suspect someone might be underage they will simply take the video down. It is not worth the risk. There is a mix of professional and amateur porn posted on there.
Child abuse is found elsewhere on the internet, not on the mainstream channels.

If you have a moral objection to all porn, I completely understand that. If it's a dealbreaker, then that's the end of the matter.
What I don't understand, and what your DH probably doesn't understand is why if you have no objection to porn in general, is teen porn in a different and unacceptable category?

There's a lack of understanding about what role play and fantasies actually mean. It doesn't mean that you really want to do that thing. Fantasising about a celebrity or having a threesome doesn't mean the person really wants to do that. Watching a woman play the role of a teenager, doesn't mean that he wants to have sex with a teen or is even sexually attracted to teens in daily life.

Bluntness100 · 14/01/2017 10:31

Op they name them like this because that's what the people viewing want to watch, the title is part of the attraction.

I have no issues with porn, but I'd be concerned about watching deliberately young looking girls. It's a bit sick to me. I'm really not sure what you can do about it though, if that's what he likes, that's what he likes, you either leave him or put up with it.

PsychedelicSheep · 14/01/2017 10:59

Personally I think it's gross and it would turn me right off if my boyfriend searched for this type of porn. The actors may well be of age but for me that's not really the point, the idea of grown men fantasising about sex with teenagers is pretty repugnant to me.

SparklingRaspberry · 14/01/2017 13:22

I personally wouldn't be concerned unless that was the ONLY kind he ever watched.

It's porn, it's fantasy. It's role play. You can walk into Ann summers and pick up a school girl outfit which sets the fantasy of young/teen etc.

I don't see the issue.
