Anyone want to give me a lesson in how to be happy single 😊

I posted before Christmas asking advise on a guy I had met (wasn't looking he approached me) and dated a few times. I wasn't 100% sure of his intensions. I ignored mumsnet and my gut feeling that he was an arse and met him a couple more times. Slept with him and then he began to fade away. Days without texting. Making excuses not to meet. He texted new years eve and that's that!
Anyway before he came along I was thinking maybe it's easier to stay single.
Apparently you have to be open to love which comes with rejection which is followed my hurt.
The question is do I want to keep feeling this? 6 years single and a line of awful dating experiences that have made me feel poop. Or stay single?
Is there anyone out there that is truly happy single?

I think there's a thread on this full of people who are happy to stay single. I'll see if I can find it. I know exactly what you mean though.
