We broke up 15 years ago. Both remarried and NC. No children between us. Why does he still appear in my thoughts and dreams sometimes? I don't want to reconcile and we haven't spoken in many years. So it's very odd. Genuinely curious!

Do you feel like you're in love with him? Do you feel he 'got away?' was it his or your choice to break up?

He got away, he ended it and I hung on. I had an immense attraction to him physically although emotionally we were on different planes. The separation was devastating at the time. I would have thought that was all worked through by now though.
