What Do I Do Now?

Had an argument with DP (now ex), he heard me say "pack your shit and move out" this isn't what I said. But he packed everything and left...came back to try and blame me and then say "do you want me to come back" and I refused to answer (we've been flogging a dead horse for ages now) so he left again.
We have two boys (2 and 1yr old) and like I say it's been awful for a long time. I don't know what to do now. I know it's the right thing but I always second guess myself and think what if. Oh my god :( x

What did you actually say?

Justmuddlingalong · 14/12/2016 22:39

If you've been flogging a dead horse for ages, why continue?

What you do now is get practical and make sure everything is in order.
Gert his name off could cil tax, get his name off tenancy, make sure bills are covered etc.
Everything else will fall into place.
If its been bad for a while, wait a little, things will be better.

I said "if your stuff doesn't belong here then move it out" it's a leading statement but him moving it all out just says it doesn't belong here. It was an argument after I had cleaned all day putting everything where it should be (mainly his clothes as they were stuffed in bags and on top of surfaces and I mean pretty much everything he owns) And was told I shouldn't have done it.
And exactly, I've been trying and trying because I really thought we could get past it and make it work but it just gets harder and harder. X

It sounds as though you've ended an unhealthy relationship. Well done. X Be kind to yourself. Don't drink too much. Get lots of sleep. See your friends. If you have to converse, text or email him only do so between the hours of 8am and 8pm.
