at Candida. Actually I was thinking of Anna Span . I can't recommend it from personal experience as I haven't seen any of her stuff, but it can't be any worse than the porn for men stuff.

I always liked Wild Orchid 2 when I was a teenager (Mmmmmm Brendan Fraser), much more plot than most of the Zalman King erotic dramas (but mondo cheesey saxophone.)

Anna Span is one contemporary film-maker - Candida Royalle's stuff was pretty lame when it first came out but that may have been down to how the BBFC butchered it. If you want woman-friendly stuff you could also check out Petra Joy (try googling her name and or Strawberry Seduction which is her company). I have to say that both Petra and Anna are a leetle bit technically clunky and crap at lighting, and their stuff a bit too soft"n" fluffy for some tastes, but they're both UK-based women giving it a go, and worth checking out.

The thing is, everyone's libido is different, so if one film doesn't do it for you, it's worth trying a different one. SOme women find the woman-friendly suttf basically too "nice" - if that's you, have a look for anything by Relish, who tend to be more full-on but funny with it. Or almost any American imports from Vivid/Wicked, which will have model-type people in nice locations but maybe a bit more group sex than the too-romantic ones.

I have to confess that DH & I tried a little Anna Span in an attempt to bring a little spark back into our relationship but I found it just embarassingly naff to watch. Just too contrived with loud audio groans for my liking! But as Madamez points out - each to their own. If my mother knew what I watched................Might try a few of the other stuff suggested though... hubby will be thrilled and I mean REALLY thrilled!

OK, this is a very tentative suggestion (given that some people may find the whole idea a bit too alarming) but... Actually, some of what is called "gonzo" porn can be startlingly effective on the libido.The dialogue is minimal, there's no plot... but in something like North Pole 18 (one of my favourites) it rocks because, basically, the female performer in the first sequence is really having a good time. And there's quite a lot of 'below-the-belt-kissing' and a convincing vibe that everyone's having fun and enjoying what they are doing.
Whereas some of the softer stuff can be beautifully shot, etc, but it's just too polite and too sterilized.
Mind you, having just had in Private's Da VInci to review, the acting's atrocious but the first oral sequence is ... well I actually watched, rather than fast-forwarding.
