My mum would like me to find her an dating agency where she can just go out on a date with no strings attached

She is nearing 70 and is single but would like to go out for the odd lunch date with a nice man. She looks really good and is independant financially, intelligent, well travelled, well read, doesnt need anyone to look after her etc.
She does though enjoy going out for lunches etc and would like to meet a like minded man/men with no strings attached whatsoever and just for lunches. No involvement in family, no pressure, no kissing etc.

Do such agencies exist? What is the safest and best way to go about it?

I would suggest my grandpa but he is a bit of a dirty ole bugger who gets his kicks out of watching the figure skating, so I won't

Have you had a look in Saga magazine? They are good for not assuming 70 = senile. It's a good magazine in general actually, I prefer it to most on the market!

Thanks, I'll get a copy today. My mum already has a better social life than me

What about Saga?

WideWebWitch · 18/02/2007 10:57

some advice from them

WideWebWitch · 18/02/2007 10:57

Saga looks quite interesting actually

hercules1 · 18/02/2007 10:58

One of them works but not the other

She doesnt want a relationship. THe one I linked to infers you are going to find someone to have a relationship. SHe doesnt want that. The lunch one is a great one but needs to be for retired people of a similar age although mm mother is horrified that she might have to go out with an "old" man with grey hair!
