Sorry if I'm bragging, but things between DP and I have been really strained recently with talks of breaking up or making it work...

Yesterday he took day off work, but told me he had to go into office to get sort out a final contract, (which I was miffed about as Ive not been well and didnt want to be left) and when he came home, I bathed LO then myslef while he fed her... nothing amazing yet... but

went into bedroom to get dressed, candles everywhere, red rose petals all over bed, glass of champagne for me, nice set of sexy pants, bra, silk dressing gown....

go down stairs, he'd got LO off to sleep, had pushed all the sofa out way, laid up a table for two, more candles, flowers.... turns out he hadnt gone to work, had gone to his parents house to cook me a yummy dinner...

yayay...

follwed by him asking me if we can start trying for DC2...

sorry, so happy had to share

That's actually made me all tearful [sad cow emoticon]

While we're sharing, for the first time in 8 years, DH actually bought me a present on Valentine's Day (champers and chocs)!

It seems that when they realise what they could lose, they suddenly pull their finger out and make an effort!
