So after a month of being apart (he dumped me) and us being ok co parents to a 1 year old. He asked to meet me to discuss child support. Then things got weird and we slept together. Has anyone else done this? I know we arent getting back together but i fear it may blur things

How do you go from discussing child support to having sex?

Please have some self respect and don't get into that situation again - meet in public places if you have to, or better still discuss anything that you need to by email

I think most people will have slept with an ex when they probably shouldn't have at some point in their lives.

TheNaze73 · 24/11/2016 14:46

I've done it. Not proud but, they were under no illusions that I was getting back with them.

Just put it down to experience op.

We started out about child support, then a rota, then xmas. Then he brought up how happy i am and how different we were separate. Considering he dumped me i didnt have any illusions of us getting back together. I knew it was like a closure thing

Are you ok though op? Particularly shit of him considering how recently he ended your relationship.

Avpixie27 · 24/11/2016 15:29

I dont know tbh. I feel ok but im hoping my brain keeps it that way. I dont want to over think it all. But i cant tell friends and family cause its too raw for them all too if that makes sense. I am hoping its like the full closure i needed

Don't forget men can very easily separate emotions from sex so for him it was probably just a shag.

Sex with an ex is an easy mistake; a bit like putting some old slippers on (Grin) but please don't fall into the trap of continually sleeping with him and reading more into it. Your self esteem will end up on the floor with your knickers.

It's done now, there's no point beating yourself up about it, just don't do it again!
