That is a strange reply...
So here is why I am so, so unbelievably pissed and tempted to tell DH to get lost: I was away for work for a week. I was terribly busy and it was pretty intense, but we talked / messaged and I was really looking forward to getting home. Then, the day before my return, DH conveniently shared his plans with his ex-wife for him to see his DC. Him seeing his children is great, but his secretive ways of making arrangements always causes conflict between us. I might as well explain that two days prior to that, I had asked what he had planned for his days off to which replied "nothing". Liar.
Tomorrow, we are supposed to be going away for four days. Through my work, I've organised seriously luxurious accommodation and lots of fun tours etc. I may be asking for too much, but surely I am entitled to enjoy my marriage and life without the rubbish that he brings into our relationship??
And yes, maybe there's a totally innocent reason for the message. She's a GB Olympic athlete - possibly the highest profile person (current) he knows, his career was in the same sport, and he's currently working on sponsorship for an event. However, he knows dozens of other famous / influential etc people in the sport. Does he REALLY need to reach out for the ex? So now, instead looking forward to our trip (and we haven't had a day off together in almost two months), I am back to where I was only two days ago: huffing & puffing, and itching to tell him to get lost.
Oh and I had a job interview today, plus another one tomorrow so quite a lot going on... I don't need the hassle that this sad creature creates, no matter how much he claims to love me and how much he does for me / us. It's almost like the man can't help himself.
Sorry, rant over.
