My my ex is having a baby with the OW!

This has probably been talked about many times on here. My ex has told me indirectly through my 5 year old son he's having a baby with the woman he left me pregnant for last year!

I'm in a bit of shock even though I have been waiting for it! I'm worried my children (6 and 1) will now become second best and feel the effects of being pushed out when they spend time with their father.

I feel like I'm Ben Cohen's (rugby player on strictly who left his wife for a Russian dancer) ex wife !

Any advice please welcome?

Firstly, why have you chosen to detail a rugby players relationship in this thread? Seems odd.

Can't even begin to get my head around how upsetting this must be for you. He really sounds like a piece of work & you're better off without him. He's got cheating form so don't let him get to you. Hope he surprises you with the child balance but, I do sadly doubt it. Stay strong

Thanks! Ha yes the rugby player was all over the press when it happened and I remember feeling awful for his ex wife unbeknown to me one day I'd be going through the same!

I'm baffled how men can leave and then start all over again thinking it's ok. I trueky worry about how my children will view things and how it will affect them. Any advice on that front welcomed?

He currently sees them a fair amount although I'm thinking of moving back home where I have more support, houses cheaper etc. But that's 4 hour drive away! Need to do a lot of thinking x

In all honestly my two children do feel second best now that their father has two more children with his new wife.

Consequently, his parents more than make up for it by treating them like they are the only children in the world, so it's swing and roundabouts really.

I try not to think about it because it will only make me bitter. I concentrate on being the best mother I can be

Hello haven't been in your situation so can't offer any helpful advice but I can say when my brothers relationship ended with his wife they had 2 children and they are still his world.
He now has another child but treats them all equally and non feel left out etc.
Hopefully that will be the case for you
