So I have a date at 4pm
Drinks
I haven't been on a date in 8 years..8 years!
He seems like a nice guy,we get on well via text but I'm a nervous shaky mess.
Half of me wants to just not go and go to bed then get depressed at myself for not going.
Do I just cancel?

No go but look on it as making a new friend. Try not to big it up too much

breakfastbap · 09/10/2016 13:27

Go! You never know it may be the start of something really good. If not then okay, at least you tried.

Good luck, hope it goes really well and you have a great time. Imagine how great you'll feel later if it does. ☺️

You should, like user said, treat it like meeting a new friend.

Play the game, not the occasion & have a laugh Grin

Go!! I went on a blind date 4 years ago, I was petrified but he is now my husband and im pregnant!

CaptinMuma · 09/10/2016 13:57

You should go. Enjoy yourself, nerves are normal.😊

Louisajohnson224 · 09/10/2016 15:05

I'm just on my way now....so nervous
I'm sure after one drink I will be ok..I hope
You know when you worry you won't have anything to talk about..

How did your date go?

Louisajohnson224 · 10/10/2016 08:25

It was so much fun.
We literally laughed all night.
Felt like I had known him ages ..I won't get too excited tho.
He text me after and this morning saying can be see me again and do I fancy going crazy golfing and dinner the weekend.
He didn't try anything on and hadn't sent any dodgy texts or topless selfies or rude pics ..I'm shocked but impressed

Go and play crazy golf. It's a brilliant eye-opener about whether someone's dementedly competitive or not.

Glad it was a good evening.

breakfastbap · 10/10/2016 09:44

That's great news. Hope you have a great time at the weekend.

CaptinMuma · 10/10/2016 10:51

Glad you had fun 😆
