DSis and partner

Hello, new poster here just in a sort of "wwyd" situation.

My DSis has been with her partner for 4 years, they have a 2 year old together. A few weeks ago she found out that her DP had been having an affair, with one of her close friends. Naturally she was angry and devastated and kicked him out.

Yesterday she rang me, and told me that she had decided to take him back and work through things. Fair enough, that is her choice. But she has now decided that all the blame lays at the OW (her ex friend) door. She obviously seduced him, bla bla.

I can't force her to do anything but I am worried that it is all going to end in tears for her. And HOW am I supposed to be nice to her DP, who I am disgusted with and expect is feeling very pleased with himself right now. I don't know if I can bring myself to be civil to him. I suppose I am worried my relationship with my DSis is going to deteriorate.

You have to bite your tongue and say nothing. You're supporting your sister, and that means accepting her choices. It sucks though, having to be pleasant to someone who has hurt someone you love.
