What are your views on this? Are they necessarily lifelong? How do you recognise your soul mate? Is it immediate or does it take time to develop??

Soul mates as in, two halves of a whole? Load of crap perpetuated by films and Hallmark.

You meet someone you like, you fall in love, you work at it. You might be together forever or it might not work out like that.

The soul mate thing never made sense to me. What if your soul mate lives in Outer Mongolia, but you're not planning to visit?

Haha love the Outer Mongolia comment. Partly the two halves thing but also someone that you have an instant connection with and feel that you've known for years, when it's just been a few weeks.

Soul mates is a load of old bollocks. However, you will get a 'love of my life', which is even better.

It's dangerous nonsense

TheNaze73 · 10/09/2016 08:52

It's utter bollocks. A very mills & boon notion.
