I split up with a guy I dated a couple months ago. Mainly no contact since (we slept together once around a month ago but haven't seen each other since). Circumstances dictated the split and also he was absolutely adamant that he didn't want a relationship based on them so I respected his wishes and left him alone.
However he set the bar pretty high and I'm starting to worry that I won't meet anyone else that matches up!
When it came to 'on paper' stuff he ticked just about every box going but we also got on really well, had incredible chemistry and we just had a great connection that I have rarely felt with anyone before.
So now I'm worried that I'm actually not going to meet another person that measures up. I have thought this before but then rationally could find a list of faults with the ex and not dwelled on it. But with this one I am struggling to see anything wrong with him!
Has anyone out there genuinely never met another? I am only 28 and don't want this to be it...
