fab first date no kiss

Well, I had a first last night and I have to say it was the best date I have ever been on! We just talked into the wee small hours, we only noticed how late it was when the bar staff were tidying up around us and came over with the bill. It was 1pm on a school night! Very tired at work today.

I am really looking fwd to seeing him again, not sure if he liked me as there was no touchy feely and he did not go for a kiss at the end of the night which would have topped it off. I think he was just shy or too much of a gentleman. We are going to a tennis lesson together next week, so hopefully things will progress a little more as I have a good feeling about him. I just hope he feels the same way and starts flirting with me a bit and goes in for that kiss next time

Yes I don :), Just the end of night kiss was all that was missing, that's why i'm not sure if he feels the same, i'm in my 30's he is late 20's for the record.

I agree, sounds like he was being respectful and cautious. Don't think he'd have hung around until 1am if he wasn't interested!

My husband didn't kiss me on our first date - he was too shy! It worked out though :D

Not everyone kisses on a first date.

Not everyone is super keen on the other person on their first date, when they might be just-keen-enough for a second date and go on to date for a long time.

When I went on a first date with DH, the date lasted from 3pm to midnight. No kissing (turned out he would have liked to but was worried that I'd think he only wanted one thing). I wouldn't read too much into it.

Mine and DP's first date didn't end with a kiss, neither did our second but our third did. That wasn't because neither of us wanted to but because I wanted to take my time and DP wasn't respectful of that. It was well worth the wait. 4.5 years later and we've travelled the states, had some other amazing holidays, bought a home, are getting married and most of all have one absolutely beautiful DD.

So my advice would be to not read too much into it and just have fun!
