Bf and I had quite passionate sex last night and towards the end when he was on top I was aware that he was pressing down quite hard on me. Afterwards I had palpitations and felt like it was harder to breathe. This morning my chest and ribcage feel painful, bruised and tight.
Bf is a big bloke bit overweight but very muscly .
I am tall ( maybe not thought of as fragile) but very small framed.
My question is what the heck can I say if it happens again without causing offense. ?

"I'm in pain and bruised from last night".

Quite simple really.

Prevent it from happening again.

Don't wait for it to happen again, tell him this morning.

Why are you worried about offending him when you are the one who is in pain and bruised?

And "stop you are hurting me" would do the job.

I agree about telling him, you don't want that happening again. In mid sesh if needed. Sounds like he needs to build up some arm/elbow strength and be more considerate.

He's not lacking in strength, it was because we were trying to be quiet incase dc woke , so I guess that's why but it was unintentional.

You need to talk to him and tell him exactly what you felt. Surely he wouldn't do it again, then?

I think it might be a good idea to bring it up now so the topic is addressed in a non-sexual context, rather than waiting until it happens again. That way you don't have to worry about ruining the moment (although if you're in pain at any point during sex I do think that rather trumps his enjoyment of it!)

A long time ago as a nurse I looked after a woman whose new husband had fractured her pelvis quite badly whilst having honeymoon sex. He was a big rugby player and was beyond mortified.

So just tell ffs. Sounds unintentional, if I've misread that then obviously LTB.
